We all go through difficult moments in life. When mine show up—as they often do—I think about the Apostle Paul's situation, which was so much more challenging than mine. I read his response to tough times and draw strength from the Lord, as he did. Perhaps his words will help you as well.
"I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength."
Philippians 4:11-13

Apparently, the shooter randomly shot nine people before a police officer gave him a much-needed lead injection. According to the news story, the suspect, who survived being shot by police (at least so far) has “a prior conviction for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.”
Three questions:
1. This joker has a violent criminal history. Why was he in possession of a firearm?
2. Why isn't Tucson Mayor Regina Romero (D) concerned about the answer to Question 1?
3. When will anti-gun politicians stop using tragedies like this to push for more gun control, which she did?
Actually, that last question answers itself.
