I always take this gear in addition to my armor and go-bag on every trip. Since I'm traveling through both California and Arizona my gear must be legal in both states.
Both handguns are on my California CCW permit. The rifle, pepper spray, and bear spray are legal in both states, as is my armor. I have ten round mags for California. Full size mags are stored in our Yuma Arizona office so I can swap them out. My go-bag has coms (HAM and satellite), food, water, med kit, tools, etc. The truck has a full set of mechanics tools and a bunch of other tools too.
Am I missing anything?
In the first half, attorney Sean Maloney from Second Call Defense joins me to explain the lessons gun owners can learn from what happened to Kyle Rittenhouse.
In the second half, I discuss a home invasion case from Oceanside California in which the homeowner successfully defended himself.
My wife and daughter have been planning tomorrow's yard sale for months. Consequently, our house looks like a scene from Sanford & Sons. I made one rule... ONE. If it doesn't sell tomorrow, it doesn't come back into the house. It goes to the thrift store. No exception! My truck is fueled up and ready to go.
