"Later that same day Jesus left the house and sat beside the lake." Matthew 13:1
This little verse gets missed. I've skipped right past it many times. Yet, it is vitally important. Jesus had been working - teaching and preaching. Then, "later that same day Jesus left the house and sat beside the lake." He took time to spend with the Father - to recharge - to rest and breath.
He made the most of every moment, knowing that his little rest wouldn't last long, as often our little breaks don't either. Scripture tells us, "A large crowd soon gathered around him, so he got into a boat. Then he sat there and taught as the people stood on the shore."
As in everything, Jesus set the example. He did the work, but he made time for the Father, knowing that all of his energy, all of his strength, and every good thing comes from God. We must do the same.
