1. Punch the clown hard (25% tariffs)
2. Wait while the clown bounces back (Reciprocal tariffs)
3. Bop the clown a few times while it starts to settle down. (Trump's public comments)
4. Shut up and wait for the clown to ask for talks. "He who speaks first loses"
5. Offer to stop hitting the clown if it does what you want (no tariffs if you do ___________).
6. If the clown agrees, begin detailed negotiations.
I've used this same approach countless times when negotiating real estate deals. Its fun watching Trump use it when dealing with other countries. Their leaders are too stupid to see what he's doing.
