After I posted the ammo boxes, I got questions about my source for ammunition. I load almost all the ammo I use. I know someone will ask about what presses I use, so here's the list.
- I use my RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme for loading high quality rifle and pistol Ammo for hunting, long range shooting, etc.
- My Mech Grabber is used for 12 gauge shot shells.
- 16 and 20 gauge I load on Lee Load All presses. I don't load a lot of these, so the Load Alls work fine.
- Range ammo for pistol and rifle up to 300 Blackout and 7.62x39 I load on this Lee LoadMaster progressive. Que the Dillon fan boys for disparaging comments I couldn't care less about.
So, there you go. That's where most of my ammo comes from.

In the second half, I discuss a home invasion case from Oceanside California in which the homeowner successfully defended himself.
Apparently, the shooter randomly shot nine people before a police officer gave him a much-needed lead injection. According to the news story, the suspect, who survived being shot by police (at least so far) has “a prior conviction for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.”
Three questions:
1. This joker has a violent criminal history. Why was he in possession of a firearm?
2. Why isn't Tucson Mayor Regina Romero (D) concerned about the answer to Question 1?
3. When will anti-gun politicians stop using tragedies like this to push for more gun control, which she did?
Actually, that last question answers itself.
At Lucille’s Bar & Grill, an armed citizen stopped a man who was allegedly threatening people with a knife. The attacker was shot and killed; no other injuries reported.
What I find most interest is the presence of an off-duty police officer who apparently did nothing. Thank God for the armed citizen.
